   This fanfare for brass and percussion is about the thrill of flight. A constant stream of rapid repeated notes simulates the air rushing by, while rising melodies create an uplifting feeling. The music alternates between sections of these ascending lines and sections of swooping gestures that gradually multiply and blend together to create a sense of motion blur.

   Instrumentation: 6 trumpets in Bb, 4 horns in F, 3 trombones, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas, Timpani, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Snare Drum

   Duration: 2'45"
