   This bright and cheerful fanfare is inspired by the radiance of the sun. Rapidly ascending lines launch the fanfare into brilliant and thick harmonies, while the underlying meter continually shifts in order to push the momentum forward at all times. This fanfare shows off the brightness of the trumpets and the agility and richness of the horns.

   Instrumentation: 4 trumpets in Bb, 4 horns, 3 trombones, 2 Euphoniums, 1 Tuba, Timpani, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Snare Drum
